An outline of the results of the first World Building day, which took place at the Five Islands School.

"Scillryn" is the name currently being used for the planet, a planet that has some similarities with Earth but as many differences.

Scillryn follows an elliptical orbit some 153 million km away from the central sun, so has longer years than Earth. It is orbited by 2 moons, that trace the same orbit so never collide, resulting in an equilibrium and therefore no tidal action.

Scillryn is 6150km in diameter, less than the Earth, so there is less gravitational pull, and like the Earth it is an ellipse (flattened at top and bottom) with less extreme weather at the flattened points.

The crust of Scillryn is thicker than Earth's, with a smaller mantle and an inner core made of nickel and iron.

Scillryn has 3 continents, each on its own tectonic plate, each with a very different climate.
