ICT Teacher at Carn Thomas

Following the deaprture of Miss Rule, I know that a number of parents are anxious to know about arrangements for the teaching of ICT at the Secondary base.
We have been extremely fortunate to acquire the skills of Mr Jeremy Andrews, an experienced DT and ICT teacher. He will be taking over the teaching of ICT for Years 7 -10 this term (and has already helped out with DT as well!). Mr. Julian Pearce has very kindly agreed to came back and finish the GCSE course with the Year 11 students.
I would like ot thank Mrs. Valerie Thomas from St. Martin's and Mr Keith Grossett who helped us out for a week while we sought a suitable supply teacher. Mrs. Thomas made a very favourable impression on her first visit to the school and is a valuable asset for future supply needs.
In the long term we will be seeking to appoint a permanent ICT teacher for the next academic year.
