House Table Tennis Competition

After teams of 6 from each House had clashed in a fantastic table-tennis competition organised by Mr. Baxter and Mr. Songhurst it remained impossible to seperate 1st from 2nd and 3rd form 4th places. We decided to have a 1 game shootout in assembly in front of the whole secondary base. 2 very tight games resulted in House R (represented by Seb Wyburne-Ridsdale in the shootout) coming 4th, House E (Tina Duxbury) coming 3rd, House S (Tom Osbourne) coming 2nd and House C (Phil Greenlaw) claiming the top spot. Well done to all who took part in the main competition or the final shootouts. Medals were awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and a trophy to the winners (House C's shelf is getting a little crowded!). All the Houses also recieved House Points towards the overall total.
